I've been going to the Hamden Barber shop for around 4 years and always have had good results. The barbers are friendly and will talk to you about anything under the sun. I prefer Bob, the owner, as he's closer to my age, but also have had Jimmy cut my hair. Both do excellent work. The atmosphere there is pleasant and there's always a newspaper or magazine to read. Their selection of TV programs to watch normally is good.
